Obituary for Jessica Comins
Jessica Comins, age 35, born May 26, 1986, died suddenly at her home in Pontiac, Michigan on August 27,2021.
Jessica has one sister, Megan Mergo and three brothers, Dan Staggs, Michael Staggs and Stephen Comins. Parents are Mark and Patricia Comins. She is the aunt of Ori, Atlas, Marin, Kiera, Ava and IO.
Jessica is a 2005 Graduate of Oxford High School and worked at DMF company and before that was at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Jessica was unable to work full time but had a strong work ethic and filled her time with volunteer work at a number of organizations such as the Salvation Army, Goodwill, local food pantries and local churches.
Jessica loved visiting her parents and siblings and playing with the dogs. Her hobbies including taking pictures of the dogs to her social media accounts. She had accounts on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
Anyone who knows Jessica knows that she loved dogs. We are still figuring out a specific shelter or rescue to recommend, and I will post a name or names when we've decided, but in the meantime, please donate (time or money) to a local shelter or rescue in lieu of flowers.
Jessica will be cremated and laid to rest in Oxford, Michigan near where our parents will one day be interred. We will host a memorial sometime in early 2022, when travel to Michigan will hopefully be safer, especially for those who are still too young to be vaccinated at this time.
