GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Jason. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Jason Chip Muz, age 50 of Ortonville, August 8, 2021. Chip loved life to the fullest and was by far the most entertaining, unique and knowledgeable person anyone would ever meet, and that's what made him so special. His love for his family, life, the outdoors, friends, strangers and anything he thought he could build better is what he lived for.
He was a teacher of anything to anyone who wanted to learn, especially on how to be a great husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He is gone way too soon but he’ll tell you that “death is only sad for the living.”
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Karen Muz, and grandparents Mary and Gene Wyman.
He is survived by "His Love" (Wife) Janette Tracy Muz; sister, Gina N. Koch, brother-in-law; John R.Koch, niece and nephew, Jessica R. and Joshua R. Koch, Emma H. Anderson; mother-in-law, (Ma) Delores Dunlap; sister-in-law, Kimberly Swett; as well as aunts, cousin's and numerous life-long friends.
Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 3-6 PM with a funeral service beginning at 6 PM. Memorials may be made to any charity of choice that would involve animals, such as local rescues, Leader Dogs for the Blind and the Humane Society.
