Russell Brian Taddiken, Loving father and husband, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2014. Russ is survived by his wife Lisa, his three children Christopher, Rebecca, and Rachael, and an unknown number of dogs and cats. In addition, he is also survived by his four siblings and his mother, Irene.
Russ was an avid photographer and loved capturing the beauty of landscapes, wildlife and dogs; a hobby which he shared with his wife Lisa. He won various awards for his photography and was published in magazines, calendars, and websites, including the 2013 Golden Retriever Club of America Field Edition. Russ also enjoyed taking photos while traveling - especially out west in Washington, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming (particularly Yellowstone). He went on many adventures with Lisa, their dog Winnie, and his entire family to experience the grandeur of the great outdoors.
As a husband, married for 28 years, he was the kindest, most forgiving, and most loving man that any woman could hope for. There was nothing he would not do for Lisa and was a constant source of support throughout their entire marriage.
As a father Russ provided as much as he humanly could for his children. He assisted with homeschooling and encouraged college educations and instilled a life-long love of learning. There was nothing he would not do for his children.
As a brother and son he always offered love, support, and encouragement no matter the situation. There are no words to express how loved and valued Russ was. He was an amazing person who cherished family, friends, and good food.
A Life Celebration will take place the summer of 2015. Details to follow. Information will be posted as it becomes scheduled. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Russell's memory may be made to Lisa Taddiken.
