Obituary for Peggy Jane Piechura
Peggy Jane Piechura, age 96 of Columbiaville, passed away on June 14, 2020. She was born in Lead, SD on May 12, 1924. Peggy was the proud owner of Kings Landing Kampground in Columbiaville for 45 years and was still working the grounds up until age 93. It was there that Peggy developed countless relationships and earned many dear friends.
Peggy is survived by her sons: Paul Piechura, Craig (Louise) Piechura, Rick (Kelly) Piechura, and daughter Kathy (Jay) Couture; six grandchildren: Katy (Andrew) Guzek, Cecilia (Ross) Lazar, Lance Piechura, Jody Piechura, Alex Couture, and Kendall Couture; six great-grandchildren Lola Guzek, Reece Lazar, Jack Lazar, Higan Guzek, Gideon Guzek, and Mary Guzek; dear friends Bridget Hatfield and Al Ross & family.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Piechura; sisters Joan and Sally.
A private family only visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 2-5 PM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick St, Oxford, MI 48371. Peggy will be laid to rest next to her husband on June 19th at 11 AM at Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N. Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458.
