Nathan Thomas Hoard was born September 24, 1976 in Lapeer Michigan.
He was the loving husband of Kristen, and they were married for 20 years. He was father to his wonderful sons, Griffin 18, Brady 14, and Cooper 13. He was the beloved son of Chris and Tom Hoard and the brother to Beth (Scott) Bruce. He will be missed by his in-laws Al and Vicki Lubelan, and Kurt (Lois) Lubelan, and Kim (Joe) Fedorinchik, and grandparents Dwight and Vera Young.

Nathan graduated from Oxford High School, where he was an outstanding athlete. He attended and graduated from Saginaw Valley State University earning a degree in Criminal Justice. He also had bachelor’s degree in I.T. from Colorado State University.
During his lifetime Nathan served as a sheriff’s deputy and approximately ten years in Sanilac and St. Clair counties. He was a talented contractor and took great pride in his work. He loved football, especially Oxford Football and anything Michigan. In his spare time he loved deer hunting and fishing up north.
Nathan was a true and loyal friend. He would be there for anyone to help with anything, at a moment’s notice. His heart was very big and he will be greatly missed.
