Obituary for Mildred Louise Cutler

Cutler, Mildred Louise (Brace) age 97, a resident of Oxford who spent many summers at Rush Lake, passed away on November 6, 2008.

Mildred was born to Harry and Grace Brace on July 20, 1911 in New Haven, Connecticut. Her parents passed away many years ago as did her brother Fred and a sister Arlene. Her youngest brother Harry recently passed away with Alzheimer’ Disease. He made his home in West Haven, Connecticut.

Mildred was a Credit Correspondent at Berger Brothers Spencer Corset Company in New Haven, Connecticut for several years and also spent many years as a homemaker. She made her home with a very dear Aunt Minerva who passed away in 1950. Loyd Cutler whom she married in 1946 pre-deceased her in 1986. Mildred came here to Oxford as a bride in 1946 and has resided here ever since.

Mildred is survived by a son George (Diana) Cutler of Sheboygan Falls, WI;, a daughter Judith with whom she made her home and her very dear and loveable little dachshund named Muffin. She has grandchildren; Nicole (Joel) Ziemer, Chad Cutler and Charles Cutler. She is a great grandma to Emma, Ella, Aryn, Dillon, Taylor, Charles Jr. and Carson.

A private family service will be held at her grave site at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Michigan. If you wish to make a memorial remembrance for Mildred she would appreciate it very much if you would make it to the Michigan Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Bossardet Chapel, Oxford.
