Obituary for Mildred E. Pocock

Mildred E. Pocock, age 102 of Oxford, passed away on April 10, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Pocock, parents Mildred and Samuel Clark, her brother John Clark and her sister Gertrude Teal.

Loving mother of Timothy (Felicia) Pocock, David (Cheryl) Pocock, Claudia (Carlos) Poquoc and Mary (Leonard) Makarewicz; proud grandmother of Carla Kay, Timmy John, Wendy, Cory, Melissa, Nathan, Mary Kay, Jennifer, Jason, Cindal, Carissa and Erin; proud great-grandmother of Taylor, Logan, Mitchell, Grant, Isabella, Olivia, Harrison, Audrey, Ryan, Tanner, Drew, Colson, Abrianna, Drew, Niall, Tatum and Israel; and proud great-great grandmother of Levi and one child on the way. Also survived by her nephews Clark, Phillip, Brian and Lee (Gwen) and her nieces Mariam and Janet.

Mildred was a graduate of Eastern High School in Detroit. She loved swimming and boating, playing tennis and spending time in the outdoors.

A memorial service will take place at Christ the King Church, 1550 W. Drahner Rd, Oxford, Friday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bob Holt will be officiating. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations to Samaritan's Purse International Relief.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford, MI.
