GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Michael. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Michael John Ojala
Born April 6,1967
Taken from us at the age of 53 on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2020, by that scourge Covid 19.
Mike's soul, free from its earthly constraints is now shining as a beacon in Heaven beheld by those who have proceeded him. They are gladdened to witness the humility, love and strength that emits from him, while we on earth lament, for we no longer have him.
In life Michael was quiet and caring as he navigated through and conquered trials that most will never know.
Mike was interested in religion and explored many avenues to be closer to God.
Mike loved to cook and eat and at times immersed himself in learning the varied culinary styles of the world. Mostly, the only thing you knew about the obscure meal Mike was going to serve you was that it was going to be a good one, prepared skillfully and with full commitment.
Mike was a knock-you-out percussionist who had a vast knowledge of all types of music, Indeed, he was our go to sage when we had questions pertaining to anything in that field.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, most of all his Mother and Father who understood him best. He relished the wonderful adventures he had with them.
Mike is preceded in death by his nephew, Ian Forstner.
Mike is survived by his Mother and Father, Patricia and John Ojala, his brother Scott (Jennifer) Ojala , his loving sister Kerry Forstner, his bright and admiring nephew Tanner Ojala, his beautiful and sensitive nieces Rilynn Ojala and Casey Forstner and by all his wonderful uncles, aunts and cousins who are too numerous to list here.
All we have left now are his stories and those of us in the know will tell them, so that all who listen will be better human beings for having heard them.
Rest easy.
