Marlene Rae Prieto (Plummer) at the age of 61 years old of Oxford, MI ended her battle with stage 4 lung cancer at her Oxford home on February 10, 2011. Marlene was born October 4th, 1949, in Pontiac, MI to the late Quinton D. Plummer and surviving
parent Jeanette Plummer (Allen)
Marlene worked as a Veterinaries Assistant for Dr. Crukshank in her early years in Oxford, For Charlie Allen of Allen Motor Cars as a detailer for 10 years and Ed Triest’s Sunoco as a cashier for almost 5 years. Marlene loved her family photos, her “John Wayne”, her dad was her hero and loved her dad’s carvings, Australia, crossword puzzles, a good game of cards, telling a good story, sharing memories of the farm and family gatherings, Marlene loved the Blues especially B.B. King and Coco Taylor, she was always good for a funny joke and the best cup of coffee in town.
Marlene is survived by her loving husband, David Paul Prieto who fought this battle by her side the whole time, her siblings Denver A. Plummer, Glenn E. Plummer, Bonnie J. Cumper (Plummer) and her loving daughters Kelliann Howard, Kathy Kindred (Prieto) and son Abram Ruiz, her 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Drahner, Oxford, MI 48371 from 1pm- 4pm. Thank you to Bossardet Lynch and Sons Funeral Home for all of your support during this difficult time for our family to Heartland Hospice for making our last days with our loved one peaceful and loving, and to Christ the King Church for providing the venue and food for our luncheon memorial.
