Leonard G. Noppenberger

Leonard G. Noppenberger of Oxford; died June 22, 2020. He was 71. Born in
Furth, Germany on December 14, 1948 to the late Anneliese and Nicholas. Devoted step-son of the late Walter Linke. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his son Matthew Noppenberger, and daughter Darleen Ringe, his sister, Christine Romanowski, brother Michael Noppenberger, step-sons Alex Gamble and John Gamble, grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Benjamin, Anneliese, Mia, Mitchell, step-grandchildren, Connor, Evan, Braden, and Carter, and his devoted and constant companion Jojo.

Len was owner of 10 & Hoover Marathon station from 1970 to 2000. He had many dedicated employees, friends, and customers.

He enjoyed fishing, organic vegetable gardening, watching the Detroit Tigers, and he loved Buddy's Pizza. Len enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the koi swim in the pond he built. He could fix almost anything and built Nancy many nest boxes for the birds on their property. Len was a kind, honest, and the most decent man you could ever know.

Len loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his precious Jojo. He was very grateful to family and friends who supported him through his trial to the end. Len recently accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

A private graveside service will be at Ridgelawn Memorial Cemetery, 99W. Burdick, Oxford, MI. Pastor Ed Bowen officiating.
