Larry G. Bryant of Oxford, Michigan formerly of Speedwell, TN passed away Tuesday November 30, 2010 at home at the age of 60. Larry was a Vietnam Veteran. He served proudly in the 1st Calvary of the United States Army. Larry spent most of his professional life in property management until his retirement. After his retirement he dove into one of his greatest loves which was classic cars. Larry was proceeded in death by his father Samuel Robert Bryant, an infant sister Rosa Lee Bryant and an Aunt Mildred Like all of TN. Larry was survived by his wife Debra Jean (Nicholson) Bryant. Larry was the father of seven children. Russell Wayne Bryant (Valerie) of Otisville, MI, Jena Rena (Todd) West of Knoxville, TN. Angela (Kevin) Leverenz of Rochester, MI, Nicole Bryant of Lake Orion, MI, Paula Bryant, Madison Bryant and Trevor Bryant all of Oxford, MI. Larry also had four grandchildren, Jonathan Bryant, Jessica Bryant, Gavin West and Garrett West. Larry is survived by his mother Violet Bean, his two sisters Silvia Bennett (Robert) and Ginger McNew all of Tazewell, TN, along with a number of nieces and nephews. In passing Larry left a lasting impression on a number of friends through the course of his life, from the ones of his youth to adulthood (The Breakfast Club). Larry will be missed for his roles as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and most of all just being himself.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 West Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Friends may visit Monday, December 6, 2010 from 3:00-8:00 PM
