Kimberly D. Demos (McCament), age 44 of Oxford passed away on February 13, 2019. She is survived by her mother DiAnne Clifford, brother William McCament, her husband Brian Demos and her children Caleb(18), Colin(14), brother Seth McCament, and numerous family memebers. She is preceded in death by the dad Steve McCament, Grandparents Curry, Grandparents McCament and her Aunt Cheryl Mirabal.
Kimberly enjoyed growing up in Bloomfield, New Mexico where her love for playing volleyball took her to Michigan Tech to play varsity volleyball. Kimberly married her best friend, as stated on his wedding band, on August 1, 1998. Kim graduated from MTU in 1999 with a Biomedical Engineering Degree. Kim loved the outdoors, country dancing, 4H animals and projects, spending time with family and friends, and Kim was a lover of life and made a point of putting a smile on everyone’s face. Ultimately ending up in Oxford, MI where her and Brian built their dream home to raise their family together.
Kimberly was in an automobile accident back in April, 2001 that left her paralyzed on her right side and in 2006 was restricted to her bed due to further complications. Through all of this, she never gave up hope that one day she would be able to run and play with her two children that she loved with all her heart.
Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 11-12 with a funeral service beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Oxford.
