Age 84 of Oxford passed away in his home on November 15, 2009.

Survived by his 5 loving children Margot (Michael) Kelley, Astrid (Brian) Wideman, Gunter (Carole) Feistammel, Roland (Paula) Feistammel, and Anita (Gary) Mayer; grandfather to Julie (Chris) Wilde, Jeanette (Kent) Mines, David Glantzer, Tim (Kerrie) Glantzer, Laurie (Chris) Feistammel, Mark Feistammel, Chris Feistammel, Steve Feistammel, Kimberly Feistammel, and Andrew Mayer; great grandfather to Kiersten, Maya, Gavin, Seirra, and Cody; he will be missed sadly by his 87 year old sister Rosa Lay of Canada.

Karl loved his family, his accordion dance and his profession, ornamental and artistic sheet metal. He came to the United States in 1955 at the young age of 30, a German immigrant with 4 children. The master tradesman made a home in Oxford for 54 years, longer than he’d lived anywhere else in the world. His motto is “whistle wile you work”, have a beautiful day and keep a song in your heart.
