Julie Marie Glantzer-Wilde, age 43 of Oxford, and formerly of Waterford and Ypsilanti, died Monday, October 24, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born December 7, 1972 in Pontiac,Michigan, beloved daughter of Astrid(nee: Feistammel ) and Brian Wideman, Helene Kelley and James Glantzer.
Though Julie was kind of a free spirit and one who enjoyed getting as much gusto out of life as possible, Julie was known for her love of traveling. Seeing new and interesting sights, and experiencing life to the fullest, was all captured with each trip she took. And whether it was somewhere far and exotic, or just around the corner, many will remember Julie for always having her camera at the ready. Possessing an eye for photography and the spirit of an artist, she enjoyed a freedom that provided countless memories of the people and places that enveloped her life,…and her quiver was surely full of the host of friends she had come to cherish over the years. Julie will always be treasured for the generosity she exuded and the care she emanated, just two of the many traits that define this kind soul. She shared her gregariousness openly, and she loved to entertain others.
A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, there's no doubt that Julie leaves us far too soon in the scheme of things, but not without leaving those she loved a legacy that will forever be cherished and precious with each reflection shared.
Julie was the loving sister of Jeanette Mines,David and Timothy Glantzer. She is also survived by her loving children; Kiersten, Maya and Gavin Wilde, loving niece and nephew; Sierra and Cody Mines.
