GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Jonathan. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Jonathan Mark Bailey was born on September 5, 1953 to Giles and Emma Bailey. He passed away suddenly on March 27, 2022 due to complications from kidney disease.
Mark will be missed by many people, including his wife Linda, his daughters Melissa and Stephanie, his mother Emma, and numerous family and friends.
Mark worked as a master auto technician for 40 years and continued fixing cars and engines after retiring. He loved traveling, summer camping trips, playing and watching sports, jamming on his bass guitar, and eating biscuits and gravy whenever anyone would make it.
One of the things that meant most to Mark was serving as an elder in the Oxford, Michigan Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Many lives were touched by his calm and patient demeanor and Bible-based advice. He drew comfort from the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to a world without sorrow, pain, and tears. (Revelation 21:3,4) And he wanted his friends and family to do the same.
“And I have hope toward God […] that there is going to be a resurrection.”
Acts 24:15
A memorial will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 over Zoom. Please email baileys48455@gmail.com for more information.
