Elisabeth J. Wallwork, age 92 of Morgantown West Virginia and formerly of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born June 28, 1916 in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late G.E. Miller and Laura Palmer Miller. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She was a charter member of the Oxford Historical Society and a member of the Oxford Music Club.
Elizabeth is survived by one daughter and spouse, Sue and Jim Tucker of Pleasant Hills, Morgantown, West Virginia; one son Fred Wallwork of Auburn Hills, MI; five grandchildren, Catherine Tucker and Mark Tucker of Morgantown, West Virginia, Michael, Thomas and AnnMarie Wallwork of Auburn Hills, MI; one greatgrandchild, Branden Tucker of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Ann Mounteer of Salem, OR, Helen and Herb Hoxie of Dallas, TX, and Marilyn and Jack Worth of Pittsboro, NC; two sisters-in-law, Loraine Miller of Livonia, MI and Lou and Anson Van Camp of Las Cruces, NM; one brother, James and Alyce Miller of Silverthorne, CO. She was Preceded in death by her husband, Harley Wallwork; one brother John Miller and one brother-in-law Robert Mounteer.
A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday September 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Oxford Township Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lynch & Sons Bossardet Chapel, Oxford.
