Obituary for Carol Ann Mann

Carol Ann (Heiter) Mann, age 76, of Oxford, went Home to be with the Lord November 17, 2016. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Gary Mann, both graduates of Oxford High School Class of 1958; her son Eric (Deena) Mann; daughters Leanne (Wesley) Higdon, Kathy (Nicholas) Jackson and Dawn (Kenneth) Raffler; grandchildren Ashley (Scott) Crick, Kenny Raffler, Ryan Higdon, Erica Mann, Amber Raffler, Clifford Mann and Jake Jackson; and her great-grandchildren Olivia Rendon and Royce Rendon. Preceded in death by her parents Iven and Madeline Heiter and sisters Alethea Nolan and Georgia O'Dell.

Carol was a very active member of the Thomas United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing baseball, golf, fishing, and hunting. She loved to travel, having visited 49 states, the District of Columbia, and many Canadian Providences. She was very determined to remain active even as she developed arthritis, diabetes and Alzhiemer's.

Funeral services will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11 AM. Visitation will take place at the funeral home Sunday, November 20th from 4-8 PM and Monday beginning at 10 AM. Interment Seymour Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thomas United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 399, Oxford, Michigan 48371.
