GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Betty. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Betty Bossardet 84, of Rochester Hills passed away 12-31-2020 with her granddaughters/great grandson by her side in Deland FL. She was battling Dementia and Parkinson’s which became to much for her. She was witty and joyous until the very end. She was loved by all that came into contact with her even if she told you to “Go piss up a rope” or “Shut the hell up”.
Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband Douglas Bossardet, Mother Irene Moore, Father Richard Palmer, Sister Nancy Kirkpatrick, Brother Richard Palmer aka Uncle RV. and her beautiful daughter Linda Morrow. We know that she is joyous as she dances with her husband and daughter once again.
Betty survived by her 2 granddaughters who she raised Amy Heckert (Daniel Kremhelmer) and Jennifer Morrow (Jeff Hillard), 8 great-grand kids Douglas (Heather) Heckert, Alexis Heckert (Austin Gors) Benjamin Heckert (Josie Clifton), Allena McGuckin (Frank Mills), Taylor McGuckin, Daniel Kremhelmer Jr, Samual Kremhelmer and Matalyn Kremhelmer and 2 great-great-grand kids Aiden Mills and the newest coming attraction Brantley Gors.
Betty worked 30+ years, with the Rochester School District. All of those years, she worked and managed the cafeteria at Adams High School. She was small in stature, but feisty enough to keep hundreds of kids in line, “in her cafeteria”. She didn’t take any BS from anyone.
There will be a small visitation for immediate family only at Lynch and Sons Funeral Directors Bossardet Chapel then followed by a service at White Chapel Cemetery of invited guests due to pandemic. The family will be doing a memorial service in late spring early summer for all to attend.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be sent to St Judes Children Research Hospital.
