Age 74 of Caseville, formerly of Gingeville, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her home after a long illness. Bernice was born March 6, 1935 in Orion Township to the late Harold and Edna (Dingall) Eisele. She graduated from Pontiac High School in 1953. On February 12, 1955 she married Edward Jack Mulligan in Pontiac. They moved to Union Lake and raised their family. She retired as a licensed pracital nurse from Oakland County Medical Care Facility in 1993 after working there 30 years. Having vacationed in Caseville for many years at the Couny Park, they bought a house and moved there permanently in 1995. She was well regarded for being a very good cook. Surviving are her husband Jack; daughter Michelle Mulligan (Keith Jewell) of Frankenmuth and son Shawn (Beth) of Oxford; grandchildren Cara Starick and Ryan and Mitchell Mulligan; and her brother, Harold Eisele of Sebewaing. She was preceded in death by her brother William Eisele and sister Sally Johnson. A memorial service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Bossardet Chapel on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 - 3:00 PM on Thursday. Memorials to the American Kidney Foundation appreciated.
