Barry Crandall went home to the Lord on March 6, 2021. He was 58 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Kelly, dear father to Kyle and Jessica (Zac) and the most loving grandfather to his ‘best bud” Jack.
He is brother to Paula Ross (Gary). Brother in law to Robert McCready, and Kathy and Gene Boyd. He is a most loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jenny and Jack Crandall, his father Larry Crandall, and his mother in law Carol McCready.
Barry cared deeply about his family and friends. Family was everything to him. He often said his coworkers and Dana corporation were “family not coworkers.”
His favorite quote was: Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.
He loved his rescue dogs, especially Elsa, and loved nothing more than being home with his wife Kelly relaxing and watching tv with the dogs. On the weekends he was happiest having his kids and grandson over for barbecues, and playing whatever game Jack wanted to play with him. Everyone loved his sense of humor, and he will be forever missed.
A graveside service will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, 99 W. Burdick Street, Oxford on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 12 noon. The family encourages casual attire because Barry was a casual guy. Memorials in Barry's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
